Myeongdong 명동

Just a short post of this place.
Myeongdong is a big area, with rows of shops ranging from café, fashion, skin care and beauty shops (The Face Shop, Holika Holika, Etude House.. you name it! And yes, we managed to grab cheap masks. They call it ‘event/이벤트’. I got mine for only 20,000 won – 20 masks and FREE 20 masks. That makes it 40!).
To get here – stop at Myeongdong Station Line 4 Exit 6. Going out of Exit 3 will lead you uphill (where there are a lot of guesthouses and N Seoul Tower)

Also spotted, EVERYSING! Owned by one of the largest entertainment company, SM Entertainment. They sell items associated with artists working under them (eg SHINee, SuJu, EXO, SNSD. There’s also a café as well as karaoke room (aka noraebang 노래방)

  1. Did you go on a travel package or did you plan your travels by yourself? And if you don’t mind me asking, how much total expenses is your travel there? from tickets, to accomodation and transport and food. im sorry i ask to many questions

    1. We travel on our own, learned the transport system by ourselves and read on blogs where to go. Also since I can communicate in basic Korean, it helped us a lot. There were 4 of us plus 2 kids so it costed us roughly BND10K (including flights to/fro Spore)
